Wills & Probate
At Rai Legal, our excellent Wills department offers a professional and caring service under what are often difficult circumstances. The Wills services we offer include:
- The writing of Wills
- Administration of Estates (i.e. the probate)- non complex estates
- Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work
- Conveyancing – where the property is part of an estate
Our costs for drafting a simple will would be £200 plus VAT. If the matter is unduly complicated and further work is involved then our costs would increase. This would be set out in your initial appointment and confirmed to you in a client care letter at the outset of the matter.
Our costs in applying for probate on your behalf would be £1000 plus VAT or 1% of the gross estate whichever is higher. There would also be disbursements and this would all be set out in your initial client care letter.
